1- Connect your wallet using Metamask
2- Add Avalanche Network to your Metamask wallet
3- Then go to bridge.avax.network
4- Select “Ethereum Mainnet” in your Metamask Network section
In the bridge you will see the direction ‘From Ethereum’ ‘To Avalanche’ is set
5- Select the assets and enter the amount you would like to bridge across
6- Click Transfer and sign the transaction prompt that pops up on Metamask
Wait for the transaction to complete on both Ethereum and Avalanche networks. It takes approximately 10 minutes on the Ethereum side and 30 seconds on the Avalanche side.
Done!
Once completed, you have successfully bridged your ERC-20 tokens to Avalanche! Check the farms with ERC20 tokens at Canary DEX — you might be tempted to try out some!
Important
The bridge does not currently support native ETH or BTC, transfer the wrapped version of these assets (WETH and WBTC) across instead
Transaction fees are paid in AVAX. The bridge will airdrop 0.05 AVAX if you move more than $75 worth of tokens over from Ethereum
The bridge only allows transfers to the same address on the other network
Only supported ERC20 tokens can be transferred across the bridge
